Trainer Introduction

Finding Balance

It’s amazing how things show up in your life when you need them most. I was introduced to yoga in 2015 by my dear friend and Pilates teacher, Julie. She said it would help expel some of the negative energy I was experiencing during that very challenging time in my life. I started going to hot yoga with her and I was hooked! I felt so good….physically, emotionally, and energetically!

At the time I was on the path to become a Pilates instructor. I had completed most of the course work but hadn’t yet taken the certification test. I moved out of state and my Pilates career was put on hold. The yoga studio I started going to in my new town offered yoga teacher training (YTT) so I decided to give it a try. I thought it would help advance my yoga practice. I was wholly unprepared for the life changing experience I would encounter through this training. It was profound!

I quickly learned there is so much more to yoga than practicing asana’s….it is a way of living, a connection between your body, your mind, and your soul. I had to dig really deep into the learnings of yoga to see that the pain I was experiencing in my body was linked to the pain I was feeling in my heart and my mind.

I learned so much about myself during my 200hr YTT that I had to continue this journey of enlightenment. I wanted to expand my knowledge so that I could share it with others. I enrolled in and recently completed my 300hr YTT and I am ecstatic! I look forward to sharing what I’ve learned with you. Whether you are interested in gentle yoga, vinyasa, yin, meditation or Pilates I am here to assist you in finding balance- body, mind and soul.
